Extension the measurement of altitude of unmanned aircraft (AR Drone 2.0)
This study aims to 1) finding the altitude by measuring atmospheric pressure, 2) extension a measuring of altitude of the AR.Drone 2.0. In this study is divided into two parts. 1) controlling the AR.Drone 2.0 with LabVIEW programming but is limited to 6 meters in length 2) controlling with Arduino Nano and a radio transmitter control, that expands the measurement of altitude over 6 meters, by using atmospheric pressure sensor BMP180 (GY-68). After that, the atmospheric pressure data is calculated to the altitude of AR.Drone 2.0. From this study, is found that the altitude of AR.Drone 2.0 can be measured but the resolution of measurement is limited to 2 meters, which is the limit of resolution of BMP180 (GY-68) sensor.
